Babes and Bubbles: Speakeasy with Rhapsody Blue

Join us every other Saturday for an interactive, unbridled social hour with an authentic cocktails-with-friends vibe. Featuring interviews with professional entertainers and personalities from all over the globe, Babes and Bubbles offers a private, exclusive environment for a safe, uninhibited and conversational experience.

Additionally, Babes and Bubbles also includes a fun segment called Drinking With A Stranger, in which Rhapsody Blue does a short interview with a member of the audience! Any audience member has the opportunity to throw their hat in the ring to be randomly selected, but of course consent is sexy and no audience member will be picked without their volunteering themselves.

The $5 admission fee not only gets you access to the Speakeasy, it also goes directly to supporting the featured artists and the freeQ platform. And of course, the Queer Naked Dance Party happens immediately afterwards, which makes Babes and Bubbles the perfect pre-game social activity!

When you purchase tickets, you agree to our Joie De Vivre Terms of Service.

You agree that you will not photograph, audiotape, or videotape any part of the Joie De Vivre Event (Event). You agree that you will not screen grab or otherwise copy any of the Event content. You agree that you will not share any of the Event content in any form. In other words, don’t be a jerk or abuser. We liberate ourselves by trusting that we will not exploit each other. Don’t make us sue you or ban you from our wonderful community, which I will do. This ticket is your agreement.

Event hosts and guests will release Joie De Vivre and Massey Media LLC from any liability, claim(s), demand(s), cause(s) of action, damage(s), loss or expense (including court costs and reasonable attorneys fees) of any kind or nature ("Liability”) which may arise out of, result from, or relate to my participation in the Event.

Consent rules:

We encourage the use of an enthusiastic, affirmative model of consent. Negotiate, communicate; ask, don't assume; “maybe” should be presumed to be a "no." So, this is a digital world. If you want to get someone’s contact info or pay them a compliment or ask to engage with you, please use the enthusiastic consent model.

This queer-centered, gender-inclusive, and body-positive party is for humans of all genders, races, sexual orientations, ethnicities, body types, physical/mental realities, and backgrounds. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, fat-phobia, body shaming, agism, etc. will not be tolerated. Please respect pronouns and names, and ask politely if you are unsure. Cis people are encouraged to share their pronouns when introducing themselves.

We have a Joie De Vivre host at each event.

Camera on, y'all! We love voyeurs, but that's a different event. If your event host observes that your camera is off, they will chat you. You have 10 minutes to respond. If you do not, you will be booted from the event. No refund.

If you break the consent or terms of service rules, you will be immediately bounced from the event. we will follow up with you after. Have more ideas for good rules and agreements? Let me know!

The tech!

We have our own online web app! We send you the URL and password to your email - right before the event.

You are on mute when you arrive to the event.

You can change your screen name and please add your pronouns after you log in by clicking on your name in the middle of the screen or side bar.

Please use the chat feature so you can connect and give feedback! You can “private” chat another dancer in this feature too.

If the host chats you about housekeeping stuff, like why your name doesn't match the RSVP list or turning your camera or your on-screen behavior or whatevs and you don't answer, the host will bounce you and you can follow up later. sarah@freeQ.love
