One Call Celebration Dance Party by the Baltimore Abortion Fund

The Baltimore Abortion Fund (BAF) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to people who live in or travel to Maryland for abortion care. We are part of the National Network of Abortion Funds, which consists of 70+ independently operated funds across the country. We use an intersectional reproductive justice lens to dismantle white supremacy and remove systemic barriers people face when accessing abortion care. Abortion is time-sensitive and essential healthcare, and funding abortion is a form of mutual aid. That is why BAF is growing our operations to meet all of the needs of our callers–from funding, to transportation and lodging, to childcare, to language translation–in one phone call. Because hassle and hustle have no place in healthcare. This spring, you–our amazing community members–are making our One Call vision a reality by supporting our Once Call Fund-a-Thon campaign and helping us raise $100,000 for people who need access to abortion care in Maryland. And we want to celebrate YOU with this virtual dance party!! Anyone who fundraises or donates to BAF’s Fund-a-Thon campaign will get a comp code for this event. All proceeds from dance party ticket sales will also directly support BAF. Thanks for making abortion not only legal, but truly accessible in Maryland.
