About the Event
freeQ is thrilled to host Stoya’s Book Club! Stoya's Book Club is for people who enjoy reading, and talking, about sexuality. We cover classic and modern sexual fiction (think Georges Bataille’s Story of the Eye through Saskia Vogel’s Permission,) the suggestive to the erotic, and educational material like Emily Nagoski’s Come As You Are. When possible, authors are invited to speak about their work.
You’re strongly encouraged to read the book beforehand. And you must be at least 18 years old to participate. No matter your level of expertise in the matter, when we have authors in attendance allow the author to respond to questions before sharing.
Jessica Stoya is donating her portion of the event proceeds to the Black Sex Worker Collective. Thank you!
freeQ is safer tech for queers to connect. We have our own video conferencing system that offers more privacy and more fabulosity for online events! Please review our community standards prior to the event.
